Employers Health's primary business is to provide collective employee benefit purchasing programs to large self-insured, private-sector employers and other plan sponsors, such as governmental entities and Taft- Hartley Health and Welfare Funds. Also, Employers Health, through one or more of its related entities, provides fee-based consulting, live conferences and e-learning for its client and organization within the health care supply chain. The organization also helps its clients understand the implications of evolving public policy changes and regulations affecting employer-sponsored health benefits. A typical client is an employer or plan sponsor that employees or covers 2,500 to more than 50,000 lives.
