About The Company
LSC is a public charter school that opened in July 2021. Currently, this choice school is located in South Sumter & serves the educational needs of a minority-majority founding class composed of 192 scholars (nine different zip codes, 66% residing within the City of Sumter limits, 65% poverty, 10% special education, and 60% minority, and 5% residing outside of Sumter). The first-ever of its existence in the community, LSC will serve nearly 2,000 scholars in grades K-12 at scale under a phase in approach with four academies to ensure quality educational programming through project-based & personalized learning.
