Better Support Work/Life Balance

Are Men Happier than Women in the Workplace?

A digital media company, Captive Network, recently surveyed 673 professionals in the hopes of finding out. The responses, depicted in the following infographic, suggest not only are men happier at work and more satisfied with their work/life balance, but also the reasons as to why.

For example, men are 35% more likely to take a break at work just to relax, whether it be to get some excercise or by simply taking a longer lunch break. By gaining a better understanding of which employees are suffering from a lack of work/life balance and the steps others are taking to prevent this, we are better equipped to ensure all employees are achieving an appropriate work/life balance. These small steps will ultimately lead to happier and more productive employees, and a more successful workplace culture overall.
